The Tempest is a 2.75m fast high energy slope soarer designed to excel in UK conditions by Jonathan Wells. The Tempest is the latest model from TJI RC and is built to high standards, with an excellent finish and a bullet proof strength.

The T tail model has a great speed range and excels in high energy conditions. Unballasted it weighs approx 2.4Kg and can be ballasted up to 4.1Kg using the rectangular pockets built into the wing roots.

The model is available in glass skin and all carbon layups, with the latter recommended for the top performance and strength.

The accessory pack contains all the control linkages and ply servo trays for the wing servos. The linkage hardware for the T tail elevator linkage is included but no construction info is currently available.

Aileron & flap bays: 55mm x 46mm, for 10mm thick servo
Elevator fin bay: 38mm x 41mm for srvo up to 12mm thick
Rudder servo forward tray hole size: 25.5mm x 12mm
Wing Joiner: 36mm x 12mm x 375mm total length
Wing Ballast holes: 2x 10.5mm x 20.6mm x 249mm
T tail mounting bolts: M4 x 25mm countersink
